Stone Valley Pet Lodge
11114 Red Rose Road
Petersburg ,  Pa  16669

Welcome to our Web site.  Stone Valley Pet Lodge is a distinctive boarding facility for dogs, cats and other companion animals located ten miles from State College between Whipple Dam and Shaver's Creek Environmental Center/Lake Perez.  Situated on 88 wooded acres, Stone Valley Pet Lodge is specially designed for the safety and comfort of our guests.  Our primary objective is to provide supervised care in a clean, secure, healthy and stimulating environment with an emphasis on individual attention.  Please take a moment to browse through our site to learn more about the Pet Lodge.  For information or to schedule a reservation, please contact us at 814-667-3000.  We hope to hear from you soon!

We are OPEN...

Monday-Friday  10am-6pm

Saturday  10am-4pm   and   Sunday  Noon-6pm

The above hours are for scheduled arrivals and departures.  We are very accommodating to the need for immediate or "short-notice" boarding of a pet(s) for a variety of reasons so we welcome you to drop your pet off without a pre-arranged reservation during our hours if you find yourself in this position.  If you are able, please call ahead to let us know you are coming.  In addition, we also welcome drop-offs as early as 8:30 in the morning with prior notice.

If we do not have any scheduled arrivals or departures during our regular hours, we do lock the facility due to the rural location of the Pet Lodge and because the building also serves as a residence to the owner.  We do check our phone messages often so we are reachable during these times if you leave a voice message and your call will be returned promptly.

For those who would like to visit the Pet Lodge with or without your pet prior to deciding on making a reservation with us, we ask that you call ahead to arrange a meeting time with Jackie to answer questions, address any concerns and review paperwork.  Public access to our boarding guests is restricted to staff members only.  Please refer to our Features Page for a quick tour of our facility.  Our enclosures offer a view of the outdoors, natural light, air-conditioning, heated floors and comfortably accommodate more than one pet from the same family.

Dogs enjoy four off-leash outdoor exercise/bathroom break sessions from morning until night lasting up to 1/2 hour each session in large fenced play yards.  Our more social canine guests are permitted to participate in group play during these sessions with permission from their owners and at our discretion making this a great way for pets to unwind and make some new friends AND as a special treat, we do offer a complimentary daily scrambled egg with breakfast which the dogs love in addition to leaving them with a fond memory of their stay at the Pet Lodge.
